UNIT-03 (Lecture-18) As per S.B.T.E. Syllabus, Bihar

Dear Reader, this exclusive notes are prepared based on the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE) syllabus for polytechnic students. In this notes I clearly explained about the Software Requirement Specification in details with point-wise. Characteristics of Software Requirement Specification (SRS) are discussed separately with point-wise and represented in diagram. The basic characteristics of SRS are Correctness, Completeness, Consistency, Unambiguousness, Stability, Modifiability, Verifiability, Traceability, Testability. I also discussed about the good properties of a good SRS in point-wise. Some of the good properties of  a SRS are Structured, Black Box-View, Concise, Integrity, Verifiable. This lecture also contained about the basic issues that the SRS writer shall address in point-wise.
