Dear Reader, this exclusive notes are prepared based on the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE) syllabus for polytechnic students. In this notes I clearly explained about the concept of Process & Process Management in point-wise. I also gave proper explanation about the various Attributes of Process. The important Attributes of Process are Process ID, Program Counter, Process State, Priority, General Purposes Register, List of Open Files & List of Devices. These attributes of Process are discussed one by one in details for your better understanding. The concept of Process Architecture are also discussed a very brief manner with the help of diagram. The concept of Process Control Box (PCB) explained clearly with the help of diagram. Finally, I discussed about the Various Process State as well as Process States Model in point-wise. The Process States Model explained here on the bases of diagram for your better understanding.
